2-3 September 2015, Manchester
The Health and Care Innovation Expo returns to Manchester on 2nd – 3rd September 2015.
Expo is one of the main events in the health and care calendar. Hosted by NHS England, it will unite 5000 people every day from across a range of sectors including industry, international healthcare, local government and academic. The event’s major aim is to bring together people with a vested interest in transforming health and care services through innovation.
Expect influential and inspiring speakers, a pop-up university offering learning space, the unconference-space Camp Expo and a lively and relevant experience.
2015’s programme is designed to scrutinise early evidence from five month of heavy lifting kicked off by the Five Year Forward review. By September there should be real progress to report on from the early adopters and pilot sites that have embraced the challenge and are making a difference to patients.
In 2014, a collective of Manchester-based healthcare organisations showcased their skills and services on a single stand at Expo. ‘Manchester: Health is our business’, as the stand was called, conveyed just how important innovation and collaboration is to improved the quality, safety and efficiency of patient services. In 2015, Manchester Health Ventures will be establishing itself in the mix with the other Manchester partners.
